Diversity is the strength and richness of our community which is enhanced by the variety of perspectives that the community incorporates. This is something that me pastor must deal with daily. Pastor Christopher Jun used to be head pastors for many different churches. Currently, he is the pastor of my church, new church of federal way, a Korean-American church; and also Joyful Life Churh, a multi-ethnic church welcoming all ages, races, sexual orientations, etc. In the past, he was a head pastor for another multi-ethnic church that consisted of mainly whites, mexicans, blacks, and asians, in the white center area. Being the head pastor at these churches allowed him to deal with diversity; some more than others. Compared to my church, NCFW, the other church he serves at would be a better example of diversity.
